I think we all have those little things in life that we’d do anything to make others understand… those beautiful, consuming things in life. like the extreme peace you feel when light shines through your curtains in the morning, or how the wind smacks your face when you wave-bash on lake michigan, or getting an unexpected hug from your baby brother.
And we use all of our energy to try to get others to understand those moments with us. To feel connected through those experiences. But no one can see the world through your eyes, no matter how much we describe it, or photograph it. The mixture of human senses and emotions is a concoction that cannot be matched through any two people’s souls, but we’ll never stop trying to find that one person who understands us from the inside out. We’ll never stop putting ourselves out there in the hopes that someone will snatch us up and take us in. That someone will at least try whole-heartedly to understand our soul.
